Congratulations are in order for Dalrada’s CEO, Brian Bonar, as he was just named a finalist for CEO of the year by the San Diego Business Journal. The 2024 awards figure to be one of the toughest to win in recent memory as a large pool of nominees—now down to a list of prominent contenders—features CEOs in multiple business categories, ranging from small private businesses to large, international corporations.
“I’m thrilled to be recognized by the San Diego Business Journal as a finalist for CEO of the Year,” Brian said. “Dalrada is doing a lot of great things that are making a real difference in the world and I’m happy that our company is getting the recognition it deserves one way or another.”
Brian’s goal of solving the world’s biggest challenges is evident through his company’s persistent development of advanced climate technology and clean energy machinery as well as providing accessible healthcare and specialty pharmaceuticals to patients who need them.
Brian is very passionate about reaching his company’s goals and Dalrada employees agree that he works harder than any 70-something CEO should. His commitment and sense of responsibility to Dalrada, his coworkers, and his family are quite obvious in his everyday dealings.
Having travelled around the world, Brian chooses to live in San Diego where he can make a positive impact on the local community by creating employment opportunities while bringing Dalrada’s unique innovations to the people of San Diego. This helps support a thriving, resilient community—a fact that Brian is certainly aware of and grateful for.
The winners of the San Diego Business Journal’s 2024 CEO of the Year will be announced during a special private event on Thursday, June 27th, at the Farmer & The Seahorse restaurant in Torrey Pines.
