Are there different upgrade levels?
Yes, Dalrada Technology Group offers different upgrade options for the system, allowing you to choose the level that best fits your needs.
LEVEL 1 UPGRADE INCLUDES:
- Removal of the
- Multibus controller
- Terminal Panel
- Robot drivers and motors
- Heater control
- Overtemp Controller
- PC and Touchscreens
- Endpoint PC
- Installation of the
- New PLC controller
- New touchscreens
- New PC
- New Motor drivers and power supply
- Zeta Robot motors
- Point to point testing and operation testing
LEVEL 2 UPGRADE INCLUDES:
The Basic (LEVEL 1) Upgrade plus
- Replace the Throttle Valve and 4 inch valve with an EtherCat pendulum valve. Removes the MKS controller.
- Replace the Loadlock Throttle valve with an EtherCat valve. Removes the MKS controller.
- New EtherCat SMC Solenoid block. Replaces the existing block.
- New style Spindle control using EtherCat SMC linear drives for lift and rotation.
- EtherCat MFCs.
- Refurbished One Arm Robot.
How long does it take to install the Novellus Concept 1 Controller Upgrade?
Installation typically takes three days to one week, depending on the upgrade level selected.
Is the Upgrade Kit also compatible with the TEOS/TMP/TMB system and the Forth-rite endpoint system?
The Upgrade is compatible with TEOS and can add TMP/TMB.
Is this the Forth-Rite RF based endpoint?
Yes. Any endpoint system designed for the Novellus C1 can be interfaced.
How obtainable are spare parts for the upgrade?
Most parts will be available directly from the OEM.
A few parts will require configuration and will be supplied from Dalrada Technology Group. (PLC CPU, Motor drivers, SMC Linear controllers)
